NBCC Wins New Contracts Worth ₹80 Cr, October Order Inflow Crosses ₹1,500 Cr

NBCC (India) Ltd has secured three new contracts for interior fit-out works in New Delhi from various companies.

What Happened: The state-owned enterprise announced on Friday that it has been awarded contracts by Oil India Limited (OIL), India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL), and Munitions India Limited (MIL) for interior fit-out works at their respective office spaces at the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi.

The total value of these contracts is approximately ₹80.3 crores. The OIL contract, worth ₹51 crores, is the most significant of the three. The IIFCL contract is valued at ₹26 crores, and the MIL contract is worth ₹3.3 crores.

This development comes on the heels of a series of successful contract procurements by NBCC in October 2024. The total value of the contracts secured by NBCC in October alone amounts to over ₹1,500 crore.

Earlier in the month, the company’s subsidiary, Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL), secured a work order worth approximately ₹1,000 crore for the Campus Development of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra.

NBCC also received a work order worth ₹198 crore for the design, supply, and installation of a rooftop solar system at the Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand. Other notable contracts include a ₹50 crore work order for the construction of an Integrated Sports Complex in Odisha, a ₹65.15 crore contract for the construction of permanent campuses for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in Delhi, and a ₹25.25 crore work order for various tasks at the Kandla Special Economic Zone.

Price Action: NBCC’s share price was down 5.24% to trade at ₹97.20 on Tuesday.
