NBCC Secures Work Orders Worth ₹65.15 Cr For JNV Campus Construction

NBCC (India) has secured work orders totalling approximately ₹65.15 crore. The orders pertain to the construction of permanent campuses for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) in East Delhi and Shahdara, Delhi.

What Happened: The company made the announcement on Thursday, October 11, 2024. The work orders are split between the JNV campus in East Delhi, worth ₹32.79 crore, and the JNV campus in Shahdara, Delhi, worth ₹32.36 crore.

This latest work order adds to a series of successful bids by NBCC in recent times. The company won a work order worth roughly ₹198 crore for the design, supply, and installation of a rooftop solar system at the Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand on October 10, 2024. On the same day, its subsidiary, Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL), secured a work order worth approximately ₹1,000 crore for the Campus Development of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra.

On October 9, 2024, NBCC announced the receipt of a work order valued at approximately ₹50 crore for the construction of an Integrated Sports Complex in Dhamnagar Bhadrak, Odisha.

In September 2024, the company secured a project worth ₹1,261 crore from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, for the establishment of an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Darbhanga, Bihar.

Following this, on September 30, 2024, the company bagged a work order valued at around ₹101 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for constructing permanent office buildings for its Regional Offices (ROs) and Project Implementation Units (PIUs).

Price Action: NBCC’s share price was down 2.35% to trade at ₹114.15 on Friday afternoon.
