NBCC Bags ₹101 Cr Work Order From NHAI, Shares Upbeat

NBCC (India) Limited, a state-owned enterprise, has secured a work order valued at around ₹101 crore.

What Happened: The company made the announcement on Monday afternoon. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded the work order to NBCC for providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for constructing permanent office buildings for its Regional Offices (ROs) and Project Implementation Units (PIUs).

This latest work order follows a series of successful bids by NBCC in September 2024. Earlier in the month, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) to develop a 13.88-acre land parcel in New Delhi, a project valued at ₹1,600 crore.

Subsequently, NBCC’s wholly-owned subsidiary, HSCC (India) Limited, secured a project worth ₹1,261 crore from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, for the establishment of an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Darbhanga, Bihar.

Last week, NBCC was awarded a work order worth approximately ₹ 75 crore for the construction and development of various infrastructure works at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Nagpur.

Price Action: NBCC’s share price was up 0.75% to trade at ₹178.74 on Monday afternoon.
