NBCC Secures New Work Orders Worth ₹448.74 Cr

NBCC has secured three new work orders, with a total value of ₹448.74 crore.

What Happened: The first contract, valued at ₹50 crore, involves planning, designing, and executing interior/fit-out works at office space for GAIL (India) Limited at the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi.

The second project, worth ₹136 crore, is for the demolition and comprehensive design engineering, construction & furnishing of four buildings of New India Assurance located at Andheri (W) and Malad (W).

The third and largest contract, worth ₹262.74 crore, is for the construction of Pratyaksha Kar Bhawan along with a residential complex and MSTU setup at Kheora Bangar, Kanpur (UP), commissioned by the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, U.P. (West) & Uttarakhand, Kanpur.

This development comes as part of a series of successful contract acquisitions by NBCC and its subsidiaries. In October, the company announced the acquisition of redevelopment projects in Goa, valued at approximately ₹1,726 crore.

Following this, on November 1, NBCC secured work orders worth approximately ₹235.46 crore. The company continued its winning streak with a work order worth around ₹65 crore from the Bank of Baroda, secured by its subsidiary, Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL).

Most recently, on November 5, NBCC bagged a construction contract estimated to be worth ₹500 crore for the construction of buildings at various locations including the Bureau of Indian Standards' headquarters in New Delhi.

Price Action: NBCC’s share price was up 1.40% to trade at ₹95.87 on Tuesday.
