NBCC (India) Limited has secured a construction contract estimated to be worth ₹500 crore.
What Happened: The state-owned construction company announced on Thursday that it has been awarded a contract for the construction of buildings at various locations including the Bureau of Indian Standards’ headquarters in New Delhi, Central Laboratory in Sahibabad, National Institute of Training for Standardization in Noida, Northern Regional Laboratory in Mohali, and Bangalore Branch Laboratory in Bengaluru.

This latest contract win is a continuation of NBCC’s successful streak of securing significant contracts. On Monday, Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL), a subsidiary of NBCC (India) Limited, was awarded a work order worth around ₹65 crore from the Bank of Baroda for development works at the bank's commercial plot at Financial City, Bengaluru Hardware Park, Bengaluru.
In the first week of November, NBCC secured work orders worth approximately ₹235.46 crore, which included a contract for the construction of a multipurpose examination hall cum innovation centre at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University in Varanasi.
Last month, the company bagged redevelopment projects in Goa valued at approximately ₹1,726 crore.
Price Action: NBCC’s share price was down 2.13% to trade at ₹95.73 on Tuesday afternoon.
