NBCC Bags ₹1,726 Cr Redevelopment Projects In Goa

NBCC (India) has announced the acquisition of redevelopment projects in Goa, valued at approximately ₹1,726 crore.

What Happened: The state-owned construction company said that it has been awarded several redevelopment projects in Goa. The projects include the redevelopment of Junta House, Government Garage, an administrative building at Porvarim, Circuit House, Government Quarters at St. Inez, and a Mini Convention Centre at Tiswadi, Patto. The total value of these projects is estimated to be around ₹1,726 crore.

This announcement comes as part of a series of successful contract acquisitions by NBCC (India) Limited. In October, the company secured several new contracts ₹2,500 crore. Additionally, its subsidiary, HSCC (India) Limited, bagged work orders worth around ₹1,322.48 crore for hospital construction.

Earlier in the same month, the company secured a work order worth approximately ₹1,000 crore for the Campus Development of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. NBCC also won a work order worth roughly ₹198 crore for the design, supply, and installation of a rooftop solar system at the Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand.

Price Action: NBCC’s share price was up 4.12% to trade at ₹91.53 on Monday afternoon.
