Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, shared a video on Twitter, which shows the judges of the popular UK-based TV show Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) show being hauled in a Mahindra’s electric auto-rickshaw.

What Happened? “I think you MIGHT be able to recognise the logo on that tuk-tuk,” prodded Mahindra as he shared a video that was just over a minute long.

The video tweeted by Mahindra shows BGT judges – Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, and Amand Holden riding a blue Mahindra Electric Treo three-wheeler rickshaw.

On the other hand, the BGT hosts – Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, are riding in a black and yellow (Mumbai's ‘kaali-peeli’ taxi-inspired) electric rickshaw.

The BGT hosts and judges use these electric rickshaws to breeze across the street of London to reach the Palladium for the auditions of the popular talent show. Although the editor seemingly added a sound sample that resembles an engine of a combustion-engine-powered three-wheeler, they ride battery-powered tuk-tuk/auto-rickshaws in the video.

Mahindra had similarly shared a video of Microsoft founder Bill Gates riding in a Mahindra Treo electric rickshaw during his India visit.

The Treo electric three-wheeler rickshaw retails between ₹2.92 and ₹3.02 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
