Leaked: Two Of Three India-Bound Samsung Galaxy S24 Models To Feature Exynos Chips

Samsung’s much-hyped Galaxy S24 lineup is days away from its global launch however, multiple reports claim the Indian variants of the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will feature Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 chip instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in rival Android flagships. The more high-end S24 Ultra, meanwhile, will pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, clocked slightly higher than normal.

What Happened? Earlier leaks agree with the new report from svztechinfo that there will be two versions of the S24 and S24+: one with the Exynos 2400 and one with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Despite different chips, the Snapdragon and Exynos variants of the S24 and S24+ should deliver similar performance, although past Galaxy models suggest the Snapdragon may offer better power efficiency.

The leak also says all S24 models will have LTPO screens with variable 1-120Hz refresh rates. The S24 will have a FHD+ display while the S24+ and S24 Ultra will have higher QHD+ resolution.

For cameras, the S24 and S24+ will reportedly have a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP 3x telephoto rear setup. The S24 Ultra will upgrade to a 200MP main, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x telephoto, and 50MP 5x periscope zoom. All models will include a 12MP selfie camera capable of 4K video.

Of the three, the S24+ may see the biggest upgrade with its high-res display and large 5000mAh battery identical to the S24 Ultra.

What do we know so far? The phones are already available for pre-order in India for ₹2,000. Samsung will officially unveil the S24 lineup on January 17 at its Unpacked event in New York. Pre-order customers will get additional launch benefits.
