Bajaj Auto reported its results for the second quarter of FY25 on Wednesday after market close.
What Happened: Bajaj Auto reported a standalone net profit of ₹2,005.04 crore, a 9.20% year on year increase from the previous year. The pulsar maker’s revenue increased by 21.81% year on year to ₹13,127.47 crore. EBITDA was at ₹2,653 crore.
The results missed the analyst’s expectations of ₹2,213.6 crore net profit and ₹13,289.56 crore revenue.
The revenue growth was backed by robust domestic performance and steady recovery of exports, the company said in their press release. In the domestic market, Bajaj’s Triumph delivered a 50% quarter on quarter volume growth with 10,000 units in domestic sales and 16,500 units total.

The commercial vehicles also clocked an all time high of 140000 units in the quarter, the company added/
The company in the previous year reported a net profit of ₹1,836 crore and revenue of ₹10,777 crore.
Bajaj Auto’s September sales increased by 20% from the previous year to 4.7 lakh units. The two wheeler sales increased by 22% to 4 lakh units. With 2.6 lakh domestic sales and 1.4 lakh exports. The commercial vehicle segment grew by 6% to more than 69,042 units with 52,554 domestic sales and 16,488 exports.
Price Action: Shares of Bajaj Auto rose 0.88% to ₹11,622.50 on Wednesday.
