Ashish Kacholia Backed Startup Builds Satellite To Be Launched By SpaceX

Ace Investor Ashish Kacholia’s space technology startup is gearing up to launch its satellite via Elon Musk’s Space X.

What Happened: Ashish Kachloia said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) XDLINX, a company he has invested in, is getting ready to launch satellites for global customers. It is not clear how much money the veteran investor has put in the space company.

XDLINX operates in the space technology industry. The company develops subsystems of small satellites such as power systems, central processing units, data communication and various payloads.

XDLINX was founded in 2022 in Hyderabad. Rupesh Gandupall is the co-founder and CEO of the company while Govindhasamy Karthik is the other co-founder.

Gandupall received his Master’s degree from the National Institute of Technology Warangal in Design and Fluid Mechanics Engineering. He has also worked as Apple’s Senior Systems Engineering & Supplier Collaboration Architect.

Karthik completed his Masters in Electrical Engineering at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He previously worked as Head of Engineering with Microsoft.

Gandupall shared in his LinkedIn post that the company’s Almagest Elevation-1 E-band communication Satellite is ready to be launched by SpaceX’s Transporter-12.
