L&T Tech Enters Long-Term Agreement With Energy Behemoth Shell

L&T Technology Services, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited, has entered into a multi-year framework agreement with energy titan Shell.

What Happened: Under the agreement, L&T Technology Services will provide integrated engineering and procurement services, digital engineering services, data governance for capital projects, and digital project management consultancy for Shell's global assets as required.

Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director of L&T Technology Services, expressed his excitement about the partnership. “This new agreement with Shell as their engineering partner further builds on our long and continuous relationship in the area of information management and allied engineering services. With our extensive experience and capabilities in serving energy sector clients, we are excited to work with Shell and contribute to achieving their strategic objectives," Chadha said.

Last month, L&T Tech inked a partnership to bring artificial intelligence capabilities to the railways. It signed a partnership with PS Technology to concentrate on the design, development, and supply of advanced AI-based simulation technologies intended to improve the operational efficiency and safety of rail infrastructure in India and abroad.

Price Action: Shares of L&T Tech were trading 0.35% lower at ₹4,831.95.
