Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders To Report Earnings On Aug 14: What To Expect

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders on Friday evening informed that it will release its June quarter results on August 14.

What To Expect: The defence major is expected to showcase good growth in revenue and profit. Analysts at Antique Broking see the company’s revenue going up around 56% year-on-year to ₹3,407 crore. Net profit is seen more than doubling to ₹579 crore in the April-June quarter.

Analysts at Nirmal Bang have a comparatively conservative outlook for the company’s upcoming results. Analysts see the shipbuilder’s revenue coming in 35% higher than the previous year’s figures at ₹2,933 crore. Profit is seen going up close to 60% to ₹491.1 crore.

Last month, the company announced the extension of Sanjeev Singhal‘s tenure as chairman and managing director. According to the company’s press filing on Thursday, his position will be extended by another month starting in August. The June quarter also saw the Defence major being awarded the “Navratna” status by the government.
