In a strategic move, HCLTech and IBM have joined forces to launch a Generative AI Center of Excellence (GenAI CoE). This initiative is aimed at providing clients with tailor-made AI solutions.

What Happened: The firms have collaborated to establish the GenAI CoE which will be built on IBM’s watsonx AI and data platform. The centre will be accessible via HCLTech's AI and Cloud Native Labs located in Noida, London, New Jersey, and Santa Clara in the US, HCLTech said in a press release.

HCLTech, in partnership with IBM, intends to train 10,000 of its engineers and architects in IBM’s groundbreaking AI technologies, specifically watsonx. The CoE will provide clients with access to education and training resources on a variety of AI technologies.
