Tata Motors reported its sales figures for May 2024 at 76,766 units sold across domestic and international markets.

What Happened: The Tata Group company’s registered sales of 76,766 was a 2.3% rise from the 74,973 units sold in May 2023. According to a regulatory filing, the company’s total domestic sales also grew by 2%, amounting to 75,173 units last month, up from 73,448 units in May 2023. Total commercial vehicle sales increased by 2%, from 28,989 units in May 2023 to 29,691 units in May 2024.

In the domestic market, sales of passenger vehicles, including electric vehicles, saw a 2% rise, reaching 47,075 units compared to 45,984 units in the same period last year. EV sales went down around 4% to 5,558, compared to the 5,805 sold in May 2023.
