Gautam Adani's Salary Jumps To ₹2.46 Cr, But Still Not Highest Paid Adani Ent Employee

India’s second richest person Gautam Adani is worth around $106 billion (₹8.8 crore), as per the Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index.

What Happened: Adani Group’s flagship entity, Adani Enterprises filed its annual report for the year ended March 2024. As per the report, Adani’s total salary for the year came in at ₹2.46 crore. This is a marginal 3% increase from the ₹2.39 crore salary he received for the year ended March 2023.

His salary stood at ₹2.16 crore, while he received prerequisites, allowances and other benefits of around ₹27 lakhs. However, he was not the highest-paid employee of the company. That honour went to Vinay Prakash, whose total salary for the year stood at ₹89.37 crore.

His salary was ₹2.54 crore and he received prerequisites, allowances and other benefits worth ₹86.83 crore. The company that his salary included performance-based variable incentives for exceptional operational and financial performance in the mining services and integrated resources management businesses of the company.

Rajesh Adani, Gautam Adani’s younger brother took home a salary of ₹8.37 crore, while Pranav Adani‘s remuneration for the year stood at ₹6.46 crore.
