On Wednesday, the Nifty 500 had more losers as markets continued their downtrend. 199 stocks advanced while 298 stocks declined while 3 remain unchanged. Campus Activewear led the way among gainers, buoyed by robust quarterly results, while MTAR Technologies was the biggest loser.

Campus Activewear soared by 18.3%, closing at ₹296.10. This remarkable rise follows the company’s impressive Q4 earnings report.

Following closely was Titagarh Rail Systems with an 11.45% increase, closing at ₹1399.30. Mazagaon Dock Shipbuilders also performed well, with a 10.55% rise, ending the day at ₹3357.35. Sumitomo Chemicals and Grindwell Norton rounded off the top five gainers, with increases of 9.03% and 8.33% respectively, closing at ₹489.55 and ₹2590.55.

Conversely, MTAR Technologies took a significant hit, with its stock price dropping by 10.89% to close at ₹1837.90.
