Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made four-fold gains through their investments in Go Digit IPO as the stock listed at a massive premium on exchanges.
What Happened: Go Digit General Insurance got listed on the exchanges and the stock price surged over ₹300, making a return of nearly 300% for the couple's investments.
Virat Kohli invested ₹2 crore in Go Digit in 2020 as he bought 2.66 lakh shares at ₹75 per share. Anushka Sharma acquired 66,667 shares at ₹75, investing ₹50 lakh in the company. As the couple didn't sell the shares in the IPO, their investments have grown four fold to over ₹10 crore.

Go Digit General Insurance provides insurance in segments including motor, health, travel, property, marine, liability insurance, and more, with customisable options.
As of December 31, 2023, the company boasted an extensive network comprising approximately 61,972 partners, encompassing 58,532 POSPs and other agents. Before the IPO, the company had raised ₹1,176 crore from 56 anchor investors, featuring prominent names like Fidelity, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and hedge fund Bay Pond Partners.
Price Action: Go Digit surged 14% above its listing price of ₹286 and was trading at ₹310.40 on Thursday.
