Hindustan Zinc Rockets 20% To Lead Nifty 500 Gainers As Markets End Flat

On Tuesday, more Nifty 500 companies saw declines than advances. 218 companies advanced, 278 companies declined while 4 remained unchanged. Hindustan Zinc led the rally among top performers, while Delhivery experienced a sharp decline.

Hindustan Zinc recorded an impressive surge of 19.99%, with its stock price climbing from ₹619.70 to ₹743.60.

Following closely, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited saw an increase of 13.28%, with its stock price rising from ₹299.70 to ₹339.50. The gain might reflect strong quarterly results or optimistic growth forecasts in the infrastructure development space. Brokerages raised the target price for the stock after the company reported strong earnings.

SJVN and Cochin Shipyard rounded out the top five gainers, with stock increases of 10.17% and 9.62%, respectively.

On the downside, Delhivery faced the most significant loss, dropping 10.31% to ₹390.00 from ₹434.85.
