On Friday’s session, Nifty 50 ended up 0.28% higher at 22,466.10. 25 stocks advanced and 25 ones declined. Mahindra & Mahindra led the gainers while TCS was the biggest loser.

Mahindra & Mahindra led the gainers with a substantial increase of 6.02%, closing at ₹2514.60, up from the previous session’s close of ₹2371.75. The stock rose after the company’s Q4 results beat the street’s estimates.

Grasim Industries saw its stock price rise by 2.15%, ending the day at ₹2423.65, up from ₹2372.60. UltraTech Cement gained 1.87%, closing at ₹9890.35, a rise from ₹9709.10. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited rounded out the top five gainers with a 1.54% increase to ₹628.30 from ₹618.75.

On the flip side, Tata Consultancy Services led the decliners with a drop of 1.71%, closing at ₹3834.10, down from ₹3900.95.

Bajaj Auto completed the list of top five losers with a decrease of 1.03%, closing at ₹8780.70, down from ₹8871.85.
