Jimmy Donaldson, better known as YouTube sensation MrBeast, has challenged T-Series CEO Bhushan Kumar to a boxing match amid a fierce subscriber battle on the video-sharing platform.

What Happened: MrBeast took to social media platform X to propose a real-world showdown with T-Series’s head honcho. He shared a side-by-side comparison of their YouTube subscriber counts, revealing a narrow gap of just 6.6 million subscribers.

“I challenge the CEO of T-Series to a boxing match,” MrBeast said in the post. His post quickly gained traction, amassing over 10,000 likes and 200,000 views, as fans eagerly responded to the idea of the popular YouTuber entering the influencer boxing scene.

Bhushan Kumar, the current managing director and chairman of T-Series, assumed leadership of the company after his father, Gulshan Kumar, passed away in 1997. T-Series is known for popular Bollywood soundtracks such as those for the movies Swades and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Supporters are jokingly rallying behind MrBeast, especially after he posted photos of himself training with fellow YouTuber Logan Paul before Paul’s 2023 match against mixed martial arts fighter Dillon Danis.

Some Indians also jumped in on the playful banter, saying MrBeast might face an uphill battle.

MrBeast’s impressive fitness journey, which includes a significant weight loss transformation and dedicated training for ten months, has further fueled confidence in his boxing capabilities. He has reportedly reduced his body fat from 40% to 20%, though he admits he still has more work to do.

The rivalry harkens back to 2019 when MrBeast famously supported PewDiePie in his YouTube subscriber battle against T-Series. While T-Series eventually overtook PewDiePie, MrBeast has since risen to the top of the YouTube creator rankings, with only T-Series left to conquer.
