Eicher Motors Shares Jump Over 3% To Lead Nifty 50 Gainers

In Tuesday’s trading session, the NIFTY 50 index showcased a dynamic landscape of the Indian stock market with a mixed bag of performances.

The star performer of the day was Eicher Motors, which saw a notable 3.23% increase from its last close, boosting its stock price to ₹4355.70 from ₹4219.35.

Following Eicher Motors, Divi’s Laboratories also marked a positive movement with a 1.28% rise in its stock price to ₹3764.20, up from ₹3716.55.

Titan Company too enjoyed a favorable day with its shares gaining 1.26%, closing at ₹3645.90, an increase from the previous session’s close of ₹3600.60. Other top performers included Hindustan Unilever and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, with their shares rising by 1.22% and 1.18% respectively, closing at ₹2220.80 and ₹283.15.

On the other side of the spectrum, the largest decline was witnessed by Infosys, which saw its shares tumble by 3.66%, closing at ₹1414.45 down from ₹1468.15.

IndusInd Bank experienced a downturn as well, with its shares falling by 3.18% to close at ₹1490.95. Larsen & Toubro Infotech wasn’t far behind in the list of decliners, with its shares dipping by 3.16% to ₹4662.85.

Other notable stocks that faced setbacks included Wipro and Bajaj Finserv, with their shares falling by 2.39% and 2.31% respectively, closing at ₹448.35 and ₹1618.50.
