What Happened: Verma, who is presently undertaking a 21000 km walk to promote blood donation awareness, had a poignant interaction with an Uber driver. During the journey, Verma overheard the driver’s daughter expressing her desire for a new school bag, a wish her father, due to his financial circumstances, was unable to grant.

Verma, deeply affected by this, chose to alter his destination and guided the driver to a nearby shop.
