Swiggy delivery executive was apprehended by the police in Hyderabad on allegations of drug trafficking, having been found in possession of five kilograms of cannabis.
What Happened: As per the report published by The Hindu, the Central Zone Task Force Police nabbed a 27-year-old Swiggy delivery executive, named Jitendra Nahak, who was carrying five kilograms of ganja in Secunderabad on Tuesday evening.

The police caught Nahak, a native of Odisha, near the Secunderabad Railway Station where he intended to distribute the illegal substance to buyers. Nahak had moved to Hyderabad around eight months ago and was working as a Swiggy food delivery agent in Madhapur.
As per the police, Nahak had turned into an inter-State drug trafficker, procuring and ferrying ganja from Bhanjanagar in Odisha to Hyderabad. “He purchased five kilograms of ganja from a local agent for ₹20,000 and planned to sell the same to customers in Hyderabad for a higher price,” an official stated.
Both Nahak and the confiscated drugs have been handed over to the Gopalpuram police for further probe.
