Darshan, who worked as an assistant engineer, was drawn into the world of betting by a syndicate promising quick financial gains. However, his initial victories soon turned into massive losses, compelling him to borrow money at high-interest rates. The financial burden and constant harassment from lenders led to Ranjitha’s demise, leaving behind a young son.

A suicide note found at the scene highlighted the threats from moneylenders, prompting the police to arrest three individuals connected to the case. In his complaint, her father identified 13 individuals and accused them of intimidating and threatening the couple.

As of now, three of the lenders have been apprehended by the authorities. Police affirm that the investigation into the case remains ongoing.
