Mahindra & Mahindra announced a strategic partnership with Adani Total Energies E-Mobility (ATEL) in a major move to enhance India’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

What Happened: As per the recent announcement, M&M has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ATEL, a subsidiary of Adani Total Gas. The collaboration aims to establish a comprehensive EV charging network across India, thereby accelerating the adoption of EVs in the country, as per a company statement.

The partnership is set to introduce e-mobility solutions that will offer customers easy access to the charging network, encompassing discovery, availability, navigation, and transactions. This initiative will be particularly advantageous for XUV400 customers, who will now have access to over 1,100 chargers via the Bluesense+ App.

Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at Mahindra & Mahindra, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating it was a “cornerstone in enhancing the EV charging infrastructure.”

Suresh P Manglani, CEO of Adani Total Gas, shared this sentiment, stating that the collaboration will “bolster the confidence of customers to embrace EV technology as part of the energy transition.”
