JioCinema, the digital streaming partner for the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL), has managed to secure 18 sponsors and 250 advertisers for the forthcoming season.

What Happened: Dream11 has been announced as the co-presenting sponsor. Other associate sponsors include Tata Motors, PayZapp by HDFC Bank, SBI, Cred, AMFI, Upstox, Charged by Thumbs Up, Britannia, Pepsi, Parle products, Google Pixel, Haier, Jindal Steel, Vodafone, Dalmia Cements, Kamla Pasand and Rapido. The streaming giant has also said that it is in advanced discussions with several other brands for associate sponsorship.

The platform has attracted advertisers from diverse sectors such as FMCG, automobile, and finance. Brands like Britannia, Parle Products, Mars chocolates, Tata Consumer Products, Havmor Ice Cream, Maruti, Apollo Tyres, Ashok Leyland, JK Tyres, PayZapp by HDFC Bank, SBI, Cred, AMFI, ICICI Mutual Fund, and LIC have bought ad slots on the platform.

JioCinema has observed a significant rise in digital advertising this season, attributing it to its efforts in eliminating advertising barriers and its world-class presentation of the T20 league. The press release also highlighted that FMCG and auto brands, typically favouring linear medium, have increased their digital spending.
