Tata Stocks Dominate Nifty 50 Gainers List

On Thursday, the Nifty 50 index saw a mixed bag of performances, with Tata Group stocks leading the gainers, while M&M and BPCL were among the top losers.

JSW Steel emerged as the top performer with a 2.10% increase, closing at ₹830.0, up from its last close at ₹812.90. Following closely was Tata Motors, which saw a 2.13% rise, ending the day at ₹1,039.30, compared to its previous close of ₹1,017.65.

Other notable gainers included Bajaj Auto, which surged by 3.18% to ₹8,879.05 from ₹8,605.80. Tata Consumer Products also saw a significant rise of 3.40%, closing at ₹1261.55, up from its last close of ₹1,220.05. Tata Steel rounded up the top five gainers with a 3.73% increase, closing at ₹157.25 from its previous close of ₹151.60.

On the other end of the spectrum, M&M led the losers with a 3.71% drop, closing at ₹1,897.55, down from its last close of ₹1,970.65. BPCL followed with a 2.14% decrease, ending the day at ₹624.70, compared to its previous close of ₹638.35.

Other notable losers included Reliance Industries, which fell by 1.60% to ₹2,957.85 from ₹3,006.00. Axis Bank also saw a drop of 1.20%, closing at ₹1,111.45, down from its last close of ₹1,125.00. ICICI Bank rounded up the top five losers with a 0.83% decrease, closing at ₹1,087.95 from its previous close of ₹1,097.10.
