Digital and cloud solutions provider Tata Tele Business Services has partnered with global communications platform Truecaller, kickstarting a new era of verified business communication with the launch of the “verified business caller ID solution”.

What Happened: A press release issued by Tata Tele Business Services on Wednesday announced its collaboration with Truecaller to introduce this advanced solution, designed to enhance the identity, credibility and spam protection of the Tata firm’s enterprise customers, ensuring secure and efficient communication.

The Truecaller’s business caller ID solution will allow users to instantly identify verified business calls with the brand and logo clearly displayed, the companies said in a press release. A unique green badge will accompany the business’s caller ID, reinforcing the business’s authenticity and fostering trust.

Brand protection measures have been implemented to uphold the integrity of the verified identity, limiting access to editing the name, logo and tags. Advanced features such as call reason, video caller ID, call feedback, and other rich media offerings are included to boost customer interaction.

“By integrating Truecaller's cutting- edge technology into our offerings, we aim to empower businesses with a seamless and secure communication solution that not only optimises operations but significantly augments customer trust and satisfaction," said Vishal Rally, senior vice president – product and marketing, Tata Teleservices.

Priyam Bose, global head gtm & developer products at Truecaller, underscored the necessity of trust and authenticity in the contemporary business environment, committing to equip businesses with a distinctive tool to verify their authenticity and strengthen their relationships with customers.

The companies said the verified business badge will serve as a shield against unauthorised changes to essential brand information, safeguarding businesses from potential misuse. The caller ID and other advanced communication capabilities have already been used by over 2000 active businesses across India and other key global markets, the release said.
