Titan Leads Losers As Nifty Breaches 20,000 Again

Today’s trading session witnessed Axis Bank leading the pack of top NIFTY 50 performers, while Titan experienced a slight dip among the bottom performers.

Axis Bank, with a percent change of 3.82, saw its shares surge to ₹1,060.15 from the last closing price of ₹1,021.15. This significant rise positions the bank as the top performer on the NIFTY 50 index today.

Following closely is Hero MotoCorp, whose stock price increased by 3.45%, taking its current price to ₹3,746.90 from a previous close of ₹3,622.

With a 3.39% gain, M&M too showed a promising performance, with its share price reaching ₹1,619.10, a leap from its last close at ₹1,566.05.

Further bolstering the market sentiment was Wipro and Tata Motors, registering a change of 2.37% and 2.13% respectively. The shares of Wipro closed at ₹406.25, a rise from the previous close of ₹396.85, while Tata Motors saw its share price climb to ₹712.35 from ₹697.5.

On the flip side, Titan led the troupe of underperformers with a minor 0.38% dip, with its shares trading at ₹3,429.30 from the previous close at ₹3,442.40.

Close on its heels was Nestle India, marking a 0.62% decrease in its stock price, which is currently at ₹24,067.5 from the last closing price of ₹24,218.6.

Divi’s Lab also witnessed a slight drop of 0.8%, with its stock price falling to ₹3,729.75 from ₹3,760.15.

Lastly, ONGC and Adani Enterprises were among the bottom performers, with a percent change of -1.01 and -1.11 respectively. ONGC’s shares were traded at ₹192, down from the previous close of ₹193.95, while Adani Enterprises’ shares dipped to ₹2,396.60 from ₹2,423.5.
