Leading the pack of top gainers was CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, with a whopping 19.99% increase from its last close, reaching a current price of ₹469.35. This marked a significant jump from its previous closing price of ₹391.15.

The other stocks that made it to the top gainers’ list were eClerx Services Limited, Vardhman Textiles Limited, and The New India Assurance Company witnessing a rise of 12.39%, 9.05% and 7% respectively.
On the flip side, leading the slump was Motilal Oswal Financial Services which dropped by 6.24% to ₹1,124.80 from its previous close at ₹1,199.75.
Jindal Stainless followed suit with a drop of 5.33%, taking its current price to ₹504.35, down from its last close at ₹532.75. Other stocks in the bottom performers’ list included Jindal Saw and Suzlon Energy Limited, both sliding down by 5.21% and 4.96% respectively.
Sonata Software rounded off the list of top losers, facing a setback of 4.83%, bringing its current price down to ₹1,302.30 from its last close at ₹1,368.50.
