Rekha Jhunjhunwala-Backed Small Cap Stock Jumps 8% To Lead Nifty 500 Gainers

In the latest trading session, India’s NIFTY 500 index witnessed a mixed bag of top gainers and losers. The market’s momentum was dictated by a variety of stocks, leaving traders on their toes.

The star of the show was Sun Pharma Advanced Research Co Ltd, which witnessed a substantial 8.08% jump from its last closing price, concluding at ₹256.80. Close on its heels was Aegis Logistics, rising by 7.41% to finish at ₹315.85.

Other top performers included KFin Tech and Metropolis Healthcare, which saw an increase of 6.88% and 5.65% respectively. The former closed at ₹509.30, while the latter finished at ₹1623.75. FDC also had a good day, witnessing a 5.50% surge, ending at ₹386.05.

However, it wasn’t a rosy day for all, with some stocks witnessing significant dips. The biggest loser of the day was MTAR Tech, which fell by a massive 11.43% to end at ₹2,261.70. KRBL too had a disappointing day, with a dip of 8.96%, ending the trading day at ₹353.90.

Other stocks that saw a decline include SKF India at -6.68%, Amber Enterprises at -6.20%, and Endurance at -5.84%. The former two closed at ₹4,650.60 and ₹3,128.25 respectively, while the latter ended at ₹1,623.90.
