Comedian Trevor Noah took to social media platform X to express gratitude for his Indian tour experience and promises to return to Bengaluru following the cancellation of his show in the city.

What Happened: South African comedian Trevor Noah on Wednesday thanked his Indian fans for their warmth and hospitality, highlighting his first-time experiences in India, particularly the rich history, delicious cuisine, and engaging debates he encountered.

He expressed his thanks to those who attended his shows in Delhi and Mumbai, describing the experience as “truly unforgettable.” Noah also sent a special message to Bengaluru, promising to return and deliver the “best show ever.”

Why It Matters: The promise comes in the wake of a previously cancelled show in Bengaluru, where Noah was slated to perform at the Manpho Convention Centre on September 27 and 28. However, the shows were abruptly called off due to poor acoustics that would not have allowed audiences to hear the comedian on stage, resulting in the cancellation.

Fans expressed their outrage at ticket-booking platform Bookmyshow demanding that they take responsibility for the technical issues.
