Film critic Taran Adarsh reported the unprecedented sales for advance booking tickets for the much-anticipated film ‘Jawan’.
What Happened: On Thursday, Adarsh took to Twitter to share the impressive booking numbers. He revealed that by Friday afternoon, a total of 79,500 tickets had been sold across national cinema chains.

Adarsh provided a breakdown of the sales, with PVR and INOX theatres selling 66,000 tickets, while Cinepolis accounted for 13,500 tickets.
Why It Matters: The advance booking for ‘Jawan’ opened up a week before its release. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer generated buzz even before its trailer was launched, with tickets priced as high as ₹2.4K selling out fast.
This is the actor’s next big release following his blockbuster film ‘Pathaan’, which was released eight months prior.
