Hero MotoCorp, the world’s leading motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, has unveiled the revamped version of its iconic motorcycle, the ‘Karizma XMR‘. This launch marks the company’s intensified focus on the premium motorcycle segment, offering advanced features and best-in-class performance.
What Happened: Hero MotoCorp announced the launch of the highly anticipated Karizma XMR, a motorcycle that boasts the highest torque and is the most powerful in its class.
Powered by a 210cc liquid-cooled dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) engine, the Karizma XMR features a 6-speed transmission, slip and assist clutch, and dual-channel ABS.
The motorcycle is designed to redefine the sports segment, catering to today’s tech-savvy customers. It comes equipped with a segment-first adjustable windshield, intelligent illumination headlamp, and turn-by-turn navigation, ensuring an unparalleled motorcycling experience.

Why It Matters: The Karizma XMR is a product of collaboration between Hero’s Center for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur and the Hero Tech Centre Germany (TCG) near Munich.
Niranjan Gupta, CEO of Hero MotoCorp, emphasized that the company aims to dominate the premium segment and promised more initiatives in the fiscal year. Ranjivjit Singh, Head of India Business Unit at Hero MotoCorp, said that the company has grown rapidly in the premium motorcycle segment and introduced the Karizma XMR as the third premium motorcycle in just three months.
