Adani Group Stocks End The Week On A High — One Clocked 7% Gain

The week saw mixed fortunes for the Adani group with stocks swinging between highs and lows. The spotlight was on Adani Power Limited with a promising 7.35% weekly gain, while Adani Wilmar Limited experienced a minor setback.

Starting the week at ₹283.75, Adani Power closed at ₹304.60 on Friday, marking an increase of ₹20.85. This rise reaffirms the company’s robust performance in the market, despite the overall volatile trading environment. This comes in the wake of investment firm GQG Partners picking up a massive stake in Adani Power giving, giving the company a significant boost.

On the other hand, Adani Wilmar witnessed a slight dip, with a weekly decrease of 1.56%. This translates to a fall of ₹6.05 from its opening price of ₹388.00 to ₹381.95 at week’s end.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited exhibited a strong performance with a 3.59% increase this week. The stock opened at ₹806.90 and closed at ₹835.90, a ₹29.00 gain. This surge comes amidst the ongoing aftereffects of the Hindenburg report and the resignation of the company’s auditor, Deloitte.

Even though Adani Green Energy Limited and Adani Enterprises Limited did not lead the rally, they both recorded positive growth. Adani Green saw a rise of 1.60%, moving from ₹979.05 to ₹994.75, while Adani Enterprises gained 1.07%, closing at ₹2,577.40 from its opening price of ₹2,550.05.

Adani Energy Solutions Limited experienced a significant rise of 5.95% following the news of Abu Dhabi National Energy Co. PJSC (TAQA) considering a substantial investment in Gautam Adani‘s diversified power businesses.

Ambuja Cements Limited saw a slight dip of 0.97%, closing the week at ₹453.05 from its opening price of ₹457.50.

The week was full of highs and lows for the Gautam Adani-led conglomerate. While the start of the week was marred by Deloitte’s resignations and the update on the ongoing SEBI investigation, the huge foreign investments in the Group companies helped the group companies end the week on a high.
