Apollo Hospitals reported its Q2 results on Wednesday after market close.
What Happened: Apollo Hospitals reported a 62.64% year on year jump in net profit to ₹378.8 crore. The company’s revenue rose 15.31% from the previous year to ₹5589.3 crore. The company’s EBITDA grew 30% YoY to ₹816 crore.
In the previous year, the hospital company reported a ₹232.9 crore net profit and ₹4846.9 crore revenue.
The healthcare services revenue jumped 9.54% to ₹2920.4 crore while retail health and diagnostics segment reported a 14.03% increase from the previous year to ₹403.9 crore. The digital health and pharmacy distribution revenue jumped 17.31% to ₹2282.2 crore.

Apollo Hospitals had 7,994 operating beds across the network as of September 30, 2024. The overall occupancy for hospitals was at 73% vs 68% in the same period in the previous year, aided by a strong increase in patient flows across hospitals, the company said in its press release.
Price Action: Shares of Apollo Hospitals closed flat on Wednesday, ending 0.05% up at ₹6,969.95.
