The Adani Group flagship company reported its earnings for the quarter ended September in the late hours of trading on Tuesday. Shares of the company inched up as soon as the results were announced.
What Happened: The conglomerate's net profit for the quarter under review stood at ₹1,741 crore, a multifold increase from the ₹227 crore posted in the same quarter last year.
The company's revenue from operations jumped 15% year on year to ₹22,608 crore, compared with the ₹19,546 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The Integrated Resources Management segment’s revenue for the September quarter was ₹9,320.21 crore, lower than both the June quarter’s ₹10,793.80 crore and ₹12,470.34 crore in the same quarter last year.
Airport Revenue reached ₹2,246.58 crore in the September quarter, a slight increase from the ₹1,905.47 crore in the same quarter last year.
The mining segment generated ₹805.25 crore in the September quarter, nearly double from the ₹483.30 crore in the same quarter last year. The New Energy Ecosystem segment posted ₹3,043.87 crore, a drop from ₹4,456.83 crore in the June quarter but an increase compared to ₹1,881.64 crore in the same quarter last year.
Price Action: Adani Enterprises’ share price was up 1.39% at ₹2,837.65 on Tuesday after the earnings report was out.
