  • Splunk Inc. SPLK rose 20.8% to $144.57. Cisco Systems, Inc CSCO agreed to acquire Splunk for $157 per share in cash, representing approximately $28 billion in equity value.
  • Calliditas Therapeutics AB (publ) CALT climbed 13.3% to $19.11.
  • Exscientia plc EXAI gained 7.1% to $4.8505. Exscientia announced an AI drug discovery collaboration with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
  • Klaviyo, Inc. KVYO rose 6.1% to $34.75. The company priced its initial public offering above expectations, raising $576 million.
  • Compañía de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. BVN gained 6% to $8.75. Morgan Stanley upgraded Buenaventura Mining from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised the price target from $8.6 to $10.3.
  • FedEx Corporation FDX gained 5.4% to $264.11 as the company reported better-than-expected earnings for its first quarter.
  • FactSet Research Systems Inc. FDS rose 4.7% to $443.56 as the company reported fourth-quarter FY23 sales growth of 7.3% year-on-year to $535.797 million, marginally beating the consensus of $535.280 million.
  • The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. GBX climbed 4.7% to $41.18 after the company announced orders for 15,300 new railcars valued at $1.9 billion.
  • Cipher Mining Inc. CIFR gained 3% to $2.75.
