Bharti Airtel has unveiled plans to provide seamless 5G connectivity on the newly launched Aqua Line of Mumbai Metro.

What Happened: Bharti Airtel will offer uninterrupted 5G services across the ten new stations of Mumbai Metro’s Aqua Line, according to a statement. This underground metro line, the first of its kind in Mumbai, links Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) to Aarey, traversing the vital Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road section.

Aditya Kankaria, Mumbai CEO at Bharti Airtel, said the company’s strategic investment in enhancing and strengthening its network infrastructure, along the Aqua Line, reflects its dedication to providing customers with seamless, high-speed mobile connectivity.

The Aqua Line, which spans 33.5 kilometres, is set to transform urban transportation in Mumbai. It connects key transit points such as Terminal 2 (T2) airport and the bustling neighbourhood of Santacruz.

Airtel has boosted its 5G capabilities along the entire route, ensuring that passengers can enjoy speedy mobile internet, clear voice calls, and uninterrupted data transmission throughout their journeys.
