Shares of Transformers and Rectifiers (India) rose 5% to intraday high of ₹684 after winning the order from Power Grid.
What Happened: Transformers won a ₹565 crore order from Power Grid to develop transformers and reactors with range of 80 megavolt-amps reactive (MVAr) 500 megavolt-amperes (MVA) and 420 kilovolt (kV) to 765kV Class.
The project is expected to be delivered by FY26, the company said in the press release.
The company also won a ₹114 crore order from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RRVPNL) in September.

In August, it won multiple orders which includes a ₹91 crore from SPIL, a ₹70 crore order from KEPIPL and a ₹91 crore order from Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL).
It had also won a ₹141 crore export orders from international entities.
The company had an ₹2,926 crore order book til June 2024 quarter.
Price Action: Shares of Transformers and Rectifiers India were up 4.34% at ₹679.75 on Thursday.
