Auto major Mahindra Mahindra's auto sales grew by 16% from the previous year to 87,839 units in September from 75,604 units in the previous year.
What Happened: The company's personal vehicle sales increased 24% to 51,062 vehicles in September from 41,267 vehicles in the previous year. In FY25, the company ha sold 2.60 lakh units so far, compared with 2.14 lakh units in FY24.
The total commercial vehicle sales grew by 6% to 33,750 units from 31,918 units in the previous year.

Total exports also increased by 25% to 3,027 units. Tractor sales grew by 2% to 44,256 units. The domestic sales increased by 3% to 43,201 units while the exports declined by 10% to 1055 units.
Veejay Nakra, president of automotive division, M&M said the company will launch the booking of five-door Thar Roxx on October 3. The company also launched Veero in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) less than 3.5 tonne segment.
Price Action: Shares of Mahindra and Mahindra rose 1.40% to ₹3,138.20 on Tuesday morning.
