Ethereum ETH/USD, also edged lower, but traded above the key $1,600 mark this morning.

XDC Network XDC/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Pepe PEPE/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.05 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 0.4%. BTC was trading lower by 0.3% at $26,005 while ETH fell by around 0.5% to $1,642 on Tuesday.
