Cannabis Cup creator High Times revealed Friday the winners of its inaugural People's Choice event, held in Illinois.

The winners of the cannabis judging competition are Bhang, Columbia Care, Verano, Bedford Grow, Aeriz, Cresco, Rythm, Grassroots Cannabis, PharmaCann, Incredibles, and Revolution Cannabis, that won a prize in each category.

The Chicago-base company opted to enter The Prairie State to bring the Cannabis Cup People's Choice Edition to its consumers.

In response to the current health crisis, High Times launched the new People's Choice Edition as an extension of the brand to enable consumers to participate in the judging process from their homes.

High Times said Friday their entrance into the state was "met with incredible demand," considerin it sold out over 1,400 judges kits.

Earlier this year, High Times Holding Corp. and Harvest Health & Recreation Inc. HARV HRVSF finalized a deal in June.

Last week, the Los Angeles-based company reportedly lost the leases for the two San Francisco cannabis properties, revealed Marijuana Business Daily.
