Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, is all set to introduce an electric four-wheeler named “e-ZEO”.

What Happened: The company announced the upcoming launch of ‘e-ZEO’ on World EV Day, September 9, 2024, as per a press release. The e-ZEO, an acronym for “Zero Emission Option”, is being hailed as a potent EV contender small commercial vehicle (SCV) segment, which is dominated by internal combustion engines (ICEs).

The company says the vehicle has superior energy efficiency, extended range, quicker charging times and cost-effectiveness in the space, making it an attractive proposition for businesses.

The e-ZEO is slated for launch on October 3, 2024, marking a pivotal moment for Mahindra in commercial four-wheeler e-mobility.

Suman Mishra, managing director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, expressed her enthusiasm about the launch, stating that the e-ZEO aligns with global efforts to expedite EV adoption, especially in the sub-two-tonne category.

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility is known for its diverse portfolio of electric, petrol, compressed natural gas, diesel last-mile mobility three- and four-wheeler passenger and cargo vehicles.
