Oriental Rail Infrastructure has secured an order of ₹9.41 crore from the Modern Coach Factory (MCF), Raebareli, Indian Railways.

What Happened: The company announced on Saturday that it has received a contract for manufacturing and supplying 164 sets of ‘Seats and Berths’ for LHB Non-AC 3-Tier Sleeper (LWSCN) coaches. The order is expected to be fulfilled by June 30, 2025, according to the company’s exchange filing.

The payment terms of the contract stipulate that 100% of the payment will be received against receipt, inspection, and acceptance of the material by the consignee at the destination.

Earlier in July 2024, the company’s subsidiary, Oriental Foundry Private Limited, bagged a massive order worth around ₹432.15 crore from the Indian Railways for manufacturing and supplying 1,200 BVCM (Broad Gauge Bogie Brake Van) Wagons.

The order is expected to be completed by March 2026. The company has had a strong run at the bourses over the past year. Over the past year, the stock has gone up over 250%.
