Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has extended its partnership with Google Cloud, unveiling two new AI-powered cybersecurity solutions designed to tackle advanced threats.

What Happened: TCS announced its collaboration with Google Cloud to launch two innovative cybersecurity solutions: the TCS Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution and the TCS Secure Cloud Foundation solution, in a press release on Tuesday. These solutions are designed to boost threat detection and response capabilities for businesses, including those operating in non-cloud environments.

The TCS MDR solution, driven by the Google Security Operations platform, will assist security teams in cutting down the time taken to detect and respond to threats. The TCS Secure Cloud Foundation, utilising Google Cloud’s security solutions, will fortify cloud security posture and governance across single-, multi- and hybrid-cloud environments.

Ganesa Subramanian, vice president and global head, cybersecurity business group, TCS, emphasised the importance of securing the transformation journey of businesses. He stated that the collaboration combines the best of TCS and Google Cloud’s capabilities to safeguard the digital estates of enterprise customers.

Peter Bailey, vice president and general manager of security operations, Google Cloud, pointed out that the integration of Google Security Operations into TCS MDR and Secure Cloud Foundation solutions will aid organisations in enhancing their security posture and their ability to respond to threats in real-time.

Price Action: Shares of TCS were trading flat at ₹4,528.15 on Tuesday.
