NBCC (India) on Monday announced bagging two orders. Shares of the construction firm were gaining after the announcement was made.
What Happened: The work orders encompass the construction of two multi-story residential buildings, an office building, and a recreation centre with an auditorium at the Oil Pipeline Headquarters in Guwahati, Assam. This project from Oil India is estimated at ₹180 crore.
Another order pertains to the refurbishment of the Platinum Jubilee Hostel at the Indian Statistical Institute Delhi Centre in New Delhi, valued at ₹2.5 crore.

Last month, the company secured two orders worth ₹720 crore, which included a significant contract from the Jhansi Development Authority valued at ₹710 crore. The company’s board has also approved the issue of bonus shares in a 1:2 ratio.
The company’s consolidated order book has seen a substantial increase of 26% from the ₹64,000 crore recorded at the end of the March quarter to around ₹81,000 crore. NBCC has set a target to further expand the order book to ₹1 lakh crore by the end of the year.
Price Action: NBCC’s share price was up 1.13% to trade at ₹188.48 on Monday.
