Here are the top ten stocks that paid the most dividends in absolute terms in FY24.
The dividends include all the interim, special, and final dividends paid in financial year 24.
Companies that pay dividends to shareholders usually have a strong cash pile which is used to reward its shareholders.
3M India was the top dividend-paying stock. The company paid a dividend of ₹685 which includes a special dividend of ₹525 and a final dividend of ₹160 per share.
Abbott India was the second highest with a final dividend of ₹410 for the year.

Bosch paid a total dividend of ₹375. This includes an interim dividend of ₹205 announced in February 2024 and a final dividend of ₹170 announced in July.
Oracle Financial Services paid a total dividend of ₹240 for the year which was interim dividend declared in May 2024.
MRF paid a total dividend of ₹200 in the year which includes two interim dividends of ₹3, ₹3 and a final dividend of ₹194.
Hero Motocorp paid ₹140 in dividends. It paid a special and interim dividend of ₹25 and ₹75 in February 2024 and declared a final dividend of ₹40 in August.
TVS Holdings paid a total of ₹94 as an interim dividend on April 2024.
LTIMindtree has a dividend of ₹65 as it declared an interim dividend of ₹20 in October 2023 and a final dividend of ₹45 in June.
TCS declared a total dividend of ₹73 with interim dividends of ₹9 each in July, and October 2023. It declared an interim dividend of ₹9 a special dividend of ₹18 and a final dividend of ₹28 in May 2024.
Colgate Palmolive India has paid ₹58 in dividends so far with an interim dividend of ₹22 in November 2023, an interim dividend of ₹26 and a special dividend of ₹10 in May 2024.

TVS Holdings jumped 69.90% YTD.
LTIMindtree has declined 10.06% in the year so far.
TCS gained 17.37% in the year so far.
Colgate Palmolive India rose 41.99% YTD.
