Shares of NBCC (India) shot up 11% on Friday's session after the company won a ₹15,000 crore order.
What Happened: The company won the order from the Srinagar Development Authority to build a satellite township based which is spread over 406 acres in Rakh-e-Gund Akshah, Bemina, Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.
The order is worth ₹15,000 crore which is almost half of the current company's market cap of around ₹33,000 crore.

Prior to this, NBCC (India) had won a ₹50 crore order to construct a regional passport office in Jammu and Kashmir on August 1.
The Navratna company had also snapped orders worth ₹854 crore from the Maharashtra government in July to develop medical college buildings in different parts of the state. These orders include a ₹403 crore order to construct a medical college hospital at Parbhani, ₹39 crore to develop a doctors' residence in Solapur and ₹411 crore order to develop a medical college hospital at Buldhana.
Price Action: Shares of NBCC (India) rose 11.43% to an intraday high of ₹188.40 on Friday.
