Bharat Dynamics will report its earnings for the June quarter later today.
What To Expect: The June quarter is traditionally weaker for the company. Equirus Securities in its preview note said that The first quarter tends to be the weakest for Bharat Dynamics in terms of execution, typically accounting for only about 15% of annual sales. Margins during this period are also the lowest among the four quarters, the brokerage added.

Shares of the company were upbeat on Friday ahead of the results. In the June quarter of FY24, the company had reported a revenue of around ₹297.7 crore with a net profit of ₹41.8 crore.
The company’s peer BEL reported its earnings for the quarter last month. The defence major's consolidated net profit for the June quarter stood at ₹791 crore, up 47% from the ₹538 crore posted in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations went 20% year-on-year to ₹4,243 crore.
Price Action: BDL’s share price was up 2.01% to trade at ₹1,442.70 in early trade on Friday.
